Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI)
The leading US compostability certification. Required for products sold or distributed as “compostable” in California under Senate Bill 343. Every BPI-certified product is independently tested to ASTM standards.

ASTM D6868
The American Society for Testing and Materials standard for compostability of paper and fiber products with biopolymer coatings — our hot cups, lids, and coated containers.

The standard for compostability of plastics, including PLA cutlery and PLA lids in our catalog.

FDA Food-Contact Compliance
All DecomPack products are documented for direct food contact under 21 CFR. Letters of guarantee available on request.

PFAS-Free
Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are restricted in food packaging in California, New York, Washington, Maine, and Vermont. All DecomPack products are PFAS-free.
